As ever, the team discuss a number of Talking Points:
- Form, Iker Casillas and Table Topping Stuff (OK so we don’t mention Casillas)
Robin has been thinking about form and momentum this week. Why is it that good form seems to correlate to a run of results? Is it the case that something as simple as feeling good can translate into better performance?
- A Pain in the Arse…nal – The Secret Diary of Jack Congdon, aged 20 and a 1/2
It’s his first week on and Jack thinks the world is ready for a full-bore, double-barreled moan about being an Arsenal fan. While Jon (a Leeds fan) and Jake (a Leicester fan) are quick to tell him to cry them a river, Jack asks what it is about football that people actually like?
- From Borussia with Lovren – Jurgen-a get fed up with us talking about Klopp…
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Jon waxes lyrical about Jürgen Klopp and his giant-beating Liverpool side. The question is, how much of the heady night at Anfield can be attributed directly to Klopp himself?
- Wes your Morgan gone? Leicester’s Loyalty Conundrum
In answering the Question No One is Asking, Jake was filled with pangs of guilt as he crossed former Leicester favourites from his team sheet. Is it fair, he asks, for teams to simply drop players after a period of success in an attempt to build a team for the future?
They then turn their attention to the Question No One is Asking, which this week is:
How should Leicester City spend £50 million in the summer transfer window?
In addition to this discussion and in association with a number of charities, the team have produced an infographic which shows just how much a season has made for Leicester City.
